Elephant (Cow & bull), Hippopotamus, Crocodile, Sable, Bushbuck, Buffalo, Leopard, Lion, Hyena, Impala, Kudu, Warthog & Waterbuck.
The hunting concession borders Lake Kariba on the eastern shores between Matusadona Game Reserve on the North and Bumi Hills on the South.
Clients fly in via Oliver Thambo airport in Johannesburg - South Africa, to Harare in Zimbabwe. From there the client can either charter a small plane to get to the hunting area or drive by road. By air it takes 1 hour to get to the hunting concession whilst a road trip from Harare takes up to 4 hours drive.
The hunting area is situated in a malaria area. The area also has tsetse flies. Correct clothing and insect repellent is therefore important. A hat that can block small flies would also be an advantage. Sunblock is also required as the sun can be very unforgiving. Clients should consult a medical practitioner prior to the safari.
Animals are hunted on quota. Clients should therefore decide beforehand what they wish to hunt. Zimbabwe is mainly used for big game hunting and is well known for its leopard, hippos, crocodiles and buffalo. Tuskless elephant are also available.
